Lee Bul’s work refers to early 20th century architecture and its vision for the development of a modern society. The ideas of modernity and the hope of a better world lie at the center of her work. The orchestrated interplay of the ever-changing mirrored landscape enables visitors to discover all of its facets from a range of perspectives.

Walking across the bridge enhances the visitor’s spatial experience. The structure and the breaks in this arrangement become visible in the overlapping of a grid (Lattice) with an incidence of light (Sun). This spatial illusion is a passage that links different sculptural works together.
