With a height of 6.5 meters, diameter of 12.5 meters, and a total of 15 million Swarovski crystals, the "Carousel" offers a ride into a world of freedom, delight, and dreams.
This revolving artwork in black-and-white, created by Spanish artist Jaime Hayon, offers an eye-catching contrast to the lush greens of the garden landscape at Swarovski Crystal Worlds. Hayon's modern design reinterprets the traditional carousel, without losing its nostalgic touch. For the fantasy character figures he drew inspiration from many different cultures, customs, and fairy tales.
"Carousel" was awarded the Wallpaper* Design Award 2020 as "Best Ride".
