Feiersinger created this sculpture especially for the garden at Swarovski Kristallwelten (Swarovski Crystal Worlds). The artist crafted an object consisting of two forked tree branches that slide into each other. The white-coated surface conceals a stainless steel core; the bronze pipe enhances the space. In contrast to the artificial coating of the branches, the bronze surface changes slowly. The work originates from the analysis of crystalline structures.
Werner Feiersinger was born in 1966 in Brixlegg, Tyrol, and studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and at the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht, Holland. Feiersinger lives and works in Vienna.
