The Centenar, the central attraction of the Blue Hall. It has a diameter of 40 cm and a weight of 310,000 carats (62 kg); its 100 precisely hand-cut facets symbolize Swarovski’s 100th anniversary in 1995. Directly next to it are the smallest crystals ever manufactured by Swarovski; despite their diameter of only 0.7 millimeters, they have 17 precision-cut facets. Swarovski’s most recent innovation is also displayed here: the Xirius Chaton, named after Sirius, the brightest star in the nocturnal sky, has been setting new standards for jewelry since 2012. With its cut facets that are fashioned using Swarovski's unique patented X-Cut technology, it takes crystal one step closer to the diamond.
