Inspired by declarations of love graffitied on walls, designer Manish Arora has created a passage dedicated to lightness and joy. The sparkling staircase guides visitors along a path of lust for life, accompanied by the pulsating rhythm of Indian electronic band MIDIval Punditz. The array of handcrafted hearts creates an aura of bliss that’s hard to resist. Temple of Love is home to 19 heart-fairies and just as many declarations of love – love is in the air.
Manish Arora was born in Mumbai in 1973 and graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in New Delhi in 1994. After launching his label, Manish Arora, in 1997, the designer embarked on his international career and has been working with collaborators around the world ever since.
His colorful, optimistic designs focus on modern interpretations of Indian folklore, delighting fashion magazines as well as Hollywood stars such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry. Manish Arora has collaborated with Swarovski on several projects since the 2010s. He exhibited his large monograph at SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film in Atlanta, Georgia under the title Life is Beautiful in 2024.
